    Pita Gyros. What a wine headache! Which wine can beat the garlic of tzatziki along with onions and fat from gyros meat? Try one of the new-age retsina wine and you will find out! My favorites are Retsina Papagiannakos made out of Savatiano grapes of Attica and Ritinitis Nobilis of Gaia winery made out of Roditis grapes from Korinthia region.
    And while in town do not forget to pay a visit to the wineries that made up the Wines of Athens initiative!

    Okay, completely jealous! I lived right above the Stádion Panathēnaikón and we had the best gyros at my neighborhood taverna. 🙂
